“I guess I’ve always loved the Video Poker Machines.  I’m a numbers guy, and a somewhat conservative gambler.  Also, I enjoy the solitude; I’m not one who favors ‘The Roar of the Crowd’…   I usually play the Quarter$$ and Dollar$$ machines (alternating, depending on my winning returns).  And, usually Double Bonus Poker and Bonus Poker Deluxe…  I tend to prefer Bonus Poker Deluxe because of the Risk/Reward factor…”.

“To me, Bonus Poker Deluxe is different than Bonus Poker (as well as Double Bonus and Double-Double Bonus) simply because all ‘4-of-a-Kind’ hands pay the same – 80 for all one-coin bets (or 400 coins for max-bets).  With a Quarter max-bet, that’s $100; with Dollars, $400!! (I usually walk away from the machine after that win; and look for another one.) …  One more advantage— ‘There are many more large pays because 4-of-a-Kind hands show up roughly 100 times as often as a royal flush (once every 424 hands versus once every 42,000 hands).”

“As I said, ‘I’m a Number$$ Guy by profession, and — I like this risk/reward return’…”.
